Joshy Bloom, 2023

In July, 2023 a beachside collaboration between Joshy Bloom and Spot Willows took place, becoming the first of many more collaborations.

Joshy Bloom immersed themself in the beachside environment, drawing inspiration from the natural elements surrounding them. Using the textures of rocks, shells, and sand, they delicately crafted clay sculptures that harmonised with the landscape, evoking a sense of interconnectedness between art and nature. Through this organic process, Bloom demonstrated a deep artist experience, allowing the creative spirit to flow seamlessly between themself and the surroundings, as well as through Spot Willows as she documented the artist in their element.

The video was shown at Open Jam exhibition at The Station, 2023. Alongside the clay creations.
